Members

The North Carolina Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists consists of the members of the national organization who reside in North Carolina. Members listed in the directory accept clients and have paid their dues to the national organization and to the local chapter in support of our web site and brochure.

Our members include not only those who perform genealogy research but also authors, speakers, retailers, software designers and others who have an interest in the “business” of genealogy. You do not have to be a “member” to attend meetings.

If you are a professional genealogist, or are considering such work, we hope you will come sit in on a meeting.

Mission Statement

The mission of the North Carolina Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists is:

• To improve our professional skills as business people and as genealogists,
• To promote an understanding of genealogy and our profession through education of the public, and
• To uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics in business practices and services.
