Meetings & Events

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month (except July, August, and December) usually at the Raleigh Family History Center at the south east corner of the Church of Latter Day Saints, 5060 Six Forks Road, Raleigh.

Members, guests, and prospective members begin to gather at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is called to order at 9:30 a.m., and lasts for about two hours.

Because we occasionally have field trips to area libraries in lieu of meetings, please see our listing of events below to confirm the meeting time and place. Each meeting includes either a program or a roundtable discussion, as well as discussion of events and other matters of mutual interest.

Programs have included discussions on copyright law, an accountant speaking on tax issues and accounting systems, NC Colonial Research, and a Certified Genealogical Record Specialist speaking on the certification process.
